Since the announcements from RED last night and this morning you probably have some questions whether and how you’ll be able to use RED footage with Cinelooks.

The answer of-course is YES! And in a multitude of ways.

First off we’re already working on a library of Apple color looks that will be available on launch day. Inside the Apple Color workflow form FinalCut you’ll be able to grade with at least a ProRes clip or DPX sequence. While not that great, it’s a workable solution and many use it.

Another way is the more expensive SpeedGrade XR route for which we’ll also have a library of looks ready on launch day.

And I thought today is a good day to tell you that we’re also working on a library of RED RAW looks that you can use within RED Cine, RED Alert and by typing the numbers into the camera by hand.
